Brian spent four years at Lansing-based Rossman Martin & Associates, most recently as a Senior Account Executive, before joining MWAC. At RM&A, Brian specialized in advocacy communication, community relations, media relations, coalition building and maintenance, and transportation advocacy.

At RM&A, Brian provided public relations support and services to Greektown Casino in Detroit, the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, the Outdoor Advertising Association of Michigan, Michigan's Transportation Team, Taubman Centers, Inc., the Michigan Oil And Gas Association, and more.

Brian has won numerous local and regional Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) awards for his media and community relations work.

Brian has a Bachelor's Degree in Communication from Michigan State University and has also completed comparative mass media studies in the United Kingdom.
